Branding, Digital Design

Student Activities

As part of my two-year role on the Anderson University Student Activities team, I was entrusted with the exciting task of establishing a distinct visual identity for our team. In my role, I took charge of creating captivating content that effectively promoted our events, ensuring maximum student engagement through on-trend approaches. Throughout my time on the team, I also assumed the responsibility of managing our social media channels for over a year. I connected with students, parents, and faculty on these channels—providing me consistent input on how to craft the brand and messaging.

Our team was most recognized for our shirts we wore to each event. Creating bright shirts and a simple wordmark allowed for us to be easily identifiable to students.

When working on this brand project I created a family of illustrations and a variety of different marks to be utilized by our dynamic team.

I played a pivotal role in enhancing student engagement at Anderson University by designing captivating digital content for high-traffic areas on campus. On a weekly basis, I proficiently developed 3-4 brand systems, collaborating closely with 14 event coordinators to bring their distinctive visions to life. Striving for a harmonious blend of individual brand systems and our comprehensive approach, I effectively harnessed the power of color as a unifying agent across all messaging efforts.
